More pabu work!!! Bodies are done! Going to be bringing 4 total to youmacon
Making more Pabu’s for my Youmacon Artist Alley inventory. I’ve decided to try a different method to attaching the face details to the head.
The one on the left is my prototype Pabu. I handstitched all the details on where on the right i used a sewing machine. I am also using different material which will hold up better and not pill. I’m liking the improvements.

Equalists Secrets revealed!!!
So i’ve been getting A LOT of questions about how we made our equalists cosplays, mostly the goggles! We didn’t take a lot of pictures cuz we were trying to keep it a surprise to the other half of the group! But i managed to get some of the ones we sent to Shufflebuff (our 3rd Equalists) to show our progress cuz he was so far away from the two of us!
It was a big double team effort between EmilyCrossing and me! Emmy did the goggles mostly and i did the outfits! We’d occasionally help the other out but thats how it went down.
The goggles, for those who are curious, are made out of quarter inch EVA foam, some craft foam, and emmy wired LEDs inside and we put round green goggle lenses in the opening. Everything but the lenses were wrapped in lyrca. The pipes are things you can find at any Hardware store that are used for windows and we wrapped them in gold.
The outfit was this awesome grey material that was light weight for us, which was perfect cuz we were running around and wrapped everywhere else in spandex and leather. The red is a upholstery fabric we found and pleather for the belts. The guards I used the red again, and added headliner foam to give it some armory look.
More Korra/Equalists photos!!! So update!!! There’s going to be a total of SIX equalists at Youmacon! And we’re going to be running around instead of finishing up our costumes in the hotel room!!! That is our goal!!! So we hope to see everyone! Colossal we were only out for a few hours XD

I will not get tired of saying how awesome this shoot was! All the crazy stress, and all the love and support from the peeps in our room helping us at the last moments getting everything together. Special love to Nina for letting me trash the hotel room every time i was working on cosplay.

Pabu prototype is FINALLY DONE!!!! Perfect for any Korra fans and cosplayers!!! Thank you all for being so patient to see this done. This is the fleece version, i have nicer faux fur that i am going to do shortly. I plan on putting something heavier in his feet and little in his tail to give it some weight so he is more flexible. Unfortunately colossalcon is taking precedence cuz we have major cosplay plans. Some you all know and some that you all don’t *evil laugh* I’m lending Pabu to Courtoonxiii for her Korra cosplay. Looking forward to seeing pics :)
I will be putting pabu in my store both fleece and non fleece. He is about 35” long and 10” tall. And I’ll be taking orders on him now too.
Fleece Version: $130 plus shipping and handling
Faux Fur: $150 plus shipping and handling

So I’m putting the last touches on Pabu, and my cousin wanted to play with him :) Its been child tested and he loved him! He played hide and seek with pabu for quite a while.
