Cosplay 2012 Review!

Looking back on this year. I had a LOT of new cosplays x.x haha with my plush business becoming more of demand i’m not sure i can pump out this much cosplays like this year. We shall see!

Anyways. There was a lot of groups this year. it made me feel included. So very happy. It has definitely been one of my best cosplay years ever. Yea my cosplays might not be as CLEAN as the ones before. I don’t give a damn! I didn’t even enter any of these into contests! I don car!!! But hell. i had so much fun.

Hawkeye Initiative Avengers Movie Poster!

We did this shot even before we knew about the initiative!!! But we all agreed that we should post this for them! :D

Avengers Plush Designs I’m thinking of!

And this will be the base for my human designs. I wanted to do something different then normal. I wasn’t a big fan of the traditional human patterns mostly used in anime/manga plushies.

I based my design off of the custom vinyl figurines. I loved they’re cute customizable plumpness.

 To prove to my sister, THAT I DO CARE! I quickly doodled the design for loki. I was planning on doing him soon anyways. But it was 5 in the mornin when i did the first designs and seriously passed out with the pad in my hands.

Loki is going to be difficult thanks to his jacket. Like always.

Inspired by my friend Droo! A then and now of some of my cosplays.

I couldn’t just pick one costume to represent a now and then cuz i technically had two outfits that were my “first.” My first Okami and Rayearth costume. I’ve also redone my serenity dress.

So i decided to show the old versions of the cosplays with their newer versions. The middle does show my oldest vs my newest cosplay. I guess the improvement is i have freinds now with cosplay lol

Just in case I didn’t manage to capture the look of the character enough (or went with a non-movie design, like with Hawkeye and Wasp - since she’s not in the movie at all), here’s the lineup:

Thor, Tony/Iron Man, Jan/Wasp, Steve/Captain America, Clint/Hawkeye, Natasha/Black Widow, Bruce/Hulk, Peter/Spider-man.
